Inspired by a very windy couple of days, Angus the wombat, Reggie the Yeti and Penny the turtle decided to make a kite.
They found some bamboo skewers, baking paper, thread, sticky tape and tools for making their exciting new project.
Penny and Reggi cut the skewers and Angus tied them together and wound string around the edges.
Then they cut and measured and cut some more.
They folded in the edges and stuck them down - the kite was really taking shape!
Finally the only thing left was to attach the tail and tassels.
Then it was finished! They were super happy with their new kite and raced down to the park to try it out.
To the critters' dismay there was absolutely no wind in the park, it had died off completely! Then Reggie had an idea - they would find a fan and an extension cord and fly the kite at home!
The fan worked wonders and the critters enjoyed the afternoon flying their new kite!
