With spring in the air the critters decided it was time to check the garden to see how all the plants were coming along...
Eric the Sloth examined the snow peas, which he discovered ware doing very well indeed! The radishes weren't as impressive - the radish leaves were thriving but there didn't seem to be any signs of the radishes themselves. Eric also checked the lemonade tree which was budding nicely (lemonade is Eric's favourite drink so he was very excited!).
Lily the Koala was over the moon to find the daffodils in bloom because nothing says spring like daffodils! She also checked on the herbs and was very pleased to see the mint and coriander flourishing, she had a bit of a nibble just to check they tasted as good as smelt.
Henley the Fox admired the hanging flowers then tended to his seedlings that were growing up nicely. He chatted to them, or rather at them for a while because he'd heard they grow quicker that way (he did also have a lot to tell them). He later examined the passionfruit vine which had clearly been someone's lunch! So he decided to climb the vine, find the culprit and try to convince the offending caterpillar that the plants next door were much tastier. After some discussion he managed to persuade the caterpillar to at least try next door's plants.
By the end of the afternoon they were quite hungry so they ate all the snow peas!
