I finally took the plunge and tried out my Gocco printer. Susan from Rocket Fuel stopped by Kirribilli market on Sunday and we had a chat about the Gocco. She gave me some tips on how to use it which got me excited to try it out. It was easy and super fun! Here are some photos of my first ever Gocco print. I also experimented a little with painting the print with watercolour once the ink had dried.
Oh they look wonderful! so cute and I love the watercolour added on afterwards.
Did you use the gocco ink to print with on the paper? I use mine for fabrics and have only ever done tests on paper. I think this inspires me to give a try to some paper printing.
Yeah I used the gocco paper ink which is oil based. Is that the ink you use for fabric? I noticed you can get fabric inks as well. I'm keen to try printing on fabric but wasn't sure if the paper ink would be suitable for it and if the ink would wash off.
