I am currently making my first sewn work to be exhibited in a gallery! The exhibition opens next Tuesday 1st September at Kudos Gallery, 6 Napier St Paddington, 5pm - 7.30pm. The show is called Thaumaturgy: (thaw-muh-tur-jee) meaning wonder making or magic, and is curated by Anastasia Freeman. 15 artist will be exhibiting and there will be performances on the opening night. If you can't make it to the opening night the gallery is open Wed - Fri 11am - 6pm and Sat 11am - 4pm and the exhibition continues until 12th September.

I won't reveal what I'm making, it's in the process of being created. I'm very excited and a little nervous about the whole thing. I hope you can make it to the show! For those of you who can't make it I will post photos n

We had an amazing day at the markets yesterday. It was a perfect spring day! Here are a couple of photos of our stall. I have booked in to have another stall at Bondi markets on Sunday 6th September.

This Sunday 23rd Diana and I will be heading down to Bondi to have another market stall. It's forecast to be a beautiful sunny day, perfect for a meander through the markets and a stroll along the beach. If you're feeling brave maybe even a dip in the ocean. Hope to see you there!

We're back from our New Zealand adventure which was amazing. It was filled with all kinds of fun and excitement. The roads up the mountains to the ski fields are treacherous to say the least, especially when covered in snow and ice in blizzard conditions! We had some excellent snow on the most beautiful mountains I've ever seen. Wherever we went the landscape was absolutely awe inspiring and the Kiwi's are an incredibly friendly bunch of people. I highly recommend a visit if you ever get the chance.

Here are a some photos from our travels, it was difficult to choose but here are some of my favourites. This one was taken on our first day on the slopes when it was snowing the biggest snowflakes I've ever seen.
