I'm heading off to the great land of New Zealand tomorrow. I am super excited! We're doing a bit of a snowboarding road trip down the south island. I'm going with Toby and three friends. Here is a photo of where we're heading, it looks amazing!

Super cute 26/07/2009

I've come across an artist named Laura  who paints and draws the cutest pictures and characters. Her work is also super witty, here are two of my favourite prints by Laura. Unfortunately it's hard to read the text here so I highly recommend checking out her Etsy store and reading them. The first one is called Noodle:Cook and the second one is Tree:Hug, click on them for a better look. You can also check out her blog here.

Green green frog 21/07/2009

I ordered some eco-felt from the States a little while ago and my friend Diana brought it all back for me. It's made of recycled plastic bottles which is very exciting. My aim is to go totally green one step at a time.

Here is my first eco-frog. His name is Peter and he is a fantastic photographer. Most of all he likes to photograph landscapes and wildlife. His dream is to one day take underwater photos of giant squid.

Fredrick is a connoisseur of modern art and an absolute gentleman. He always keeps abreast of the latest art trends and exhibitions and is starting his own collection of works. He is a social butterfly and impossibly charming.

Fredrick and Klein are great friends, they even grew up in the same pond. You will often see them together at exhibition openings and at the theatre. Here they are posing for a photo.

Holiday pics 07/07/2009

The snow holiday was fantastic! The snow itself could've been better but we made the most of what was there and had a great time. We stayed in a tiny little town called Old Adaminaby a bit of a drive away from the snow fields. It has the most stunning and strange man-made lake which the house overlooked. Here are a couple of photos of the lake. We saw lots of kangeroos by the lake, but unfortunately I didn't get any photos of them.

It was the holiday of rainbows. I have never seen so many rainbows in such a short period of time, it was really magical. Here is one over the snowfields. I thought I'd also include a photo of me in my favourite green jacket snowboarding down the slopes.

Toby and I are heading on another snow holiday, leaving on 31st July, this time to New Zealand which is really exciting! Until then I can't wait to get back into stitching again.
