Herbert and Friends - Handmade Softies by Torunn

Once again the Finders Keepers put on an awesome market! It was bigger and better than last years Melbourne market with more visiters which gave the event a buzzing vibe. 

Here are my top three market favourites... 

First is Reissued who restyle vintage furniture, there are so many of their pieces I would love to have in my little home!

Second is Ink & Spindle who hand-print beautiful fabrics.

Last but not least is Angus & Celeste, a Melbourne design duo who make everything from jewellery to scarves, belts and these stunning bottle vases.   

I had a few issues with my camera over the weekend so the photos above are all taken by the designers themselves. 

Something I did manage to take a photo of in Melbourne was this awesome street sign! 

Now we're back in Sydney and it's back to work, catching up on some custom orders and doing a big shop update! 

Over the past week I've been working frantically in preparation for the Melbourne Finders Keepers, and our living room has been transformed into what can only be described as a craft den! If you're in Melbourne over the weekend come by and say hi! 

Lately I've been working on some illustrations that are in the process of becoming  my first ever range of cards! I've been thinking it's time to diversify and also work on my drawing skills. The cards will have their debut at the Melbourne Finders Keepers! Here they are below...

I'm off to Melbourne at the end of the month for the second Melbourne Finders Keepers market! I really enjoy Melbourne, as most people do, so it'll be a fun weekend, and I accidentally booked my flight for the day before I was meant to be going (it helps to pay close attention to dates when booking flights) so I'll have a bit of spare time to explore! The market dates are Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th March so if you're in Melbourne come and say hi! 

My second big market adventure will be to the Bowerbird Bazaar in Adelaide which is the 6th - 8th May. I've never been to Adelaide so I'm really excited to check the place out, I've only heard good things about the city. 

In the meantime I'll be in serious production mode!
