Herbert and Friends - Handmade Softies by Torunn

I'm generally not much of a shopper, but yesterday was an exception! After some swaps and wheeling and dealing this is what came home with me...

Two beautiful vases from Angus & Celeste. I've wanted these for such a long time - I've been eyeing them off at markets and online, so I'm super excited I finally bought them! 

These awesome kitschy-fun flamingos by Flamingos Forever to brighten up the garden.   

This simple and beautifully understated locket. This is the first necklace I've bought for myself in about 8 years! I usually only wear necklaces once a year on really special occasions such as weddings, but that's all about to change thanks to Red Revival. 

This lovely canvas satchel is from Only Midge. 

And lastly I bought this ceramic pot/vessel-thing from Saison to keep our cooking utensils in - something I've been looking for for ages!

Two down, two days to go! Here are some photos of a couple of stand out stalls around me (and the herbert & friends stall). Next to me is Red Revival, simply awesome brooches, lockets and other great jewellery, and diagonally opposite me are amazing flamingos by Flamingos Forever that I've been falling more and more in love with as the days progress!

I had a party over the weekend to celebrate my birthday (although my birthday is this coming Saturday), and these amazing friends of mine made this incredible herbert cake!!! It was a total surprise and so awesome and as hard as it was to cut into him, the cake aslo tasted great! 

Herbert was very pleased with the cake and its likeness! 

I hope everyone had a great weekend! 

Today we're off on a short holiday down the coast, not on a safari like Willem here but more of a relaxing, not do too much holiday. Hopefully we get a bit of beach weather!
