Lately I've had a few wedding couple orders, here's the first to be finished! They were married on the weekend...

Here are some brooches I made for a custom order, it's been ages since I made food or objects so it was super enjoyable!

This is what my weekend consisted of... beach and kangaroos. We went camping at Cave Beach in the Booderee National Park which was everything a camping trip should be; relaxing, nature-filled, and a lot of fun!

We got back to Sydney on Sunday afternoon and quickly packed a picnic bag and headed out to the Domain to check out Tropfest. I have to say overall I wasn't that impressed with the films this year, but there were a few stand-outs. I was really pleased that my favourite film won on the night! It was simple, funny, very entertaining and it's all about animals! How can you go wrong with that combination! You can check it out below if you haven't seen it yet... enjoy!

First of all I wanted to share with you this little rabbit that I made as a custom order, which happened to coincide perfectly with the Chinese New Year and the year of the rabbit! I am super happy with how the little rabbit turned out, and once again I was sad to see it go, but I've decided to make some more! Stay posted for more rabbits heading your way...

I had stall at the Rocks Market yesterday which I was not looking forward to at all after my first experience which was less than awesome! To my surprise I had a great time yesterday and really enjoyed the experience so I'm really glad I decided to give it another chance. My stall was in a much better location, it was on Playfair St this time rather than in the giant crammed tent. I'll definitely have a stall there again.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Rambert is very happy about the fact that he's an echidna. He feels that his spikes make him look a great deal tougher than he actually is, although he has considered becoming a ninja which would make him super tough and stealthy! His favourite past-time is rolling down hills followed by eating croissants and cinnamon buns.

I hope everyone in Sydney survived the heatwave over the last week, Saturday was quite possibly the hottest day I've experienced in Sydney to date. I breathed a sigh of relief when I was finally cold enough to put a jumper on!

Yesterday was the first Eveleigh Artisans' Market of the year. The flow through of customers was pretty slow, but with the heat and it being the beginning of the year it was hardly surprising. I did have a lot of fun though chatting to the customers who came by and of course all the stall holders. This market has such a lovely community feel, I really look forward to it every month, even just to catch up with fellow marketeers.

I got chatting to a couple at the market, one of them was wearing an awesome necklace so I asked where they got it from. It turned out they make the necklaces themselves and their brand is Brainbow. They're in the process of putting together a website, but in the meantime you can check them out and buy their wares on Etsy

In other market news, last month I tried the Rocks Market for the first time which I have to say was really average! It made for a pretty tedious weekend with few customers and lots of people who 'didn't get it'. I was told the busiest stall was one selling kangaroo testicle key-rings, which is saying something. Nevertheless I've decided to give it another go, it could have just been a bad day at the market (although I doubt it). So this Sunday 13th Feb I'll be at the Rocks Market with my fingers crossed!

This lovely guy (who is possibly a bit of a hipster) is a custom order that I've been working on lately. He has a lot of personality and I have a feeling he's in a band...
